Stabilus selects AEL Span for N.A. Distribution Center

Stabilus, a German manufacturer of gas springs for vehicle bodies and interiors, announced it has chosen AEL Span in Belleville, Michigan, to house and operate its distribution center. The facility will offer 2,100 Stabilus part numbers covering 99% of the domestic and import vehicles on North American highways, according to the company.

Stabilus supplies 90% of all OE automotive gas springs in North America. With the new distribution center, the company hopes to double its aftermarket business, according to Paulo Levy, head of the Stabilus North American industry business unit.
